The quality system

Certifications

DC has always carefully observed market and customers tastes’ evolution and this led us to add new healthy product lines, such as Gluten Free, Milk Free, Sugar Free or Organic, to meet more sophisticated customers’ requests and to satisfy customers with specific food intolerances.

IFS – BRC

Dino Corsini strategic goal towards large distribution networks was confirmed in 2014 with the award of IFS certification (International Featured Standard) and of BRC certification (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standard). Both certification, initially meant for french/german and for english market respectively are recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) and aim at ensuring proper food security to customers, through strict controls of quality in raw material management and transforming processes.

ORGANIC

The historic Organic line, which is meeting customers’ expectations in several distribution channels both in Italy and abroad, is officially certificated by the italian Certification body ICEA. In addition to that DC scrupolously selects appropriate suppliers and controls raw material received to guarantee its customers on the whole organic supply chain.

Gluten Free

Starting 2005, Dino Corsini focused its energy to meet celiac customers’s needs, by developing a new line of gluten free product and by setting up an entirely segregated manufacturing line to prevent gluten contamination during production. Objective was to guarantee best-in-class Gluten Free production and at the same time to develop a tasty gluten free sweet snacks line. The italian certification body AIC (celiac national association) audits us every year to guarantee the adequate manufacturing standards and to ensure continuous improvement processes throughout the process. Dino Corsini is also present with products labeled “Spiga Barrata“ (“wheat ear crossed-out”) in the Minister of Health products registry, which allows for reimbursability of products purchased by consumers.

SMETA – SEDEX

Dino Corsini applies internally, and improves every year, only work management policies and organisation models that are both ethical and morally accepted. As a matter of fact internal employees’ community represents a paramount asset, key for a sustainable and successful growth of the Company itself.

In line with this core belief in 2021 SMETA-SEDEX certification was awarded to Dino Corsini to officialize, through an external auditor, the effort of the Company towards ethical principles in business management and production. Among other core principles adopted two are central in Dino Corsini philosophy: elimination of any employees’ discriminations as well as offering professional development opportunities to all empoyees.

UNI EN ISO 14001 – Environment (in adoption)

Dino Corsini shares active effort and engagement towards reduction of unhealthy impacts of any business activity on local environment and community. As a consequence we strive to adopt management and technical policies aimed at reducing overal energy consumption, organic/paper/plastic wastes production and CO2 emissions into atmosphere. We also put serious effort in preventing any possible polluting effect executed by liquid wastes into nearby soil and into recicling of any packaging material,

In order to transform these beliefs into solid and concrete responsibilities, we started the ISO 14.001 certification process with an external notification body and we expect to complete the former in first quarter 2022.

We now believe to share even more core principles of our best large-distribution, discount and co-packer customers.

ESG MONITORING (Environment, Sustainability and Governance)

Believing in common social and economic positive impact of any business, for internal and external stakeholders, Dino Corsini has volountarily started in 2021 ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) monitoring of its processes. ESG monitoring is becoming more and more spread in modern business communities and is aimed at evaluating key parameters of any industrial activity describing the former’s impact on Environment, internal and external resources involved and finally Company Governance.

We selected key Company processes and their representing parameters and we then set ambitious improving targets for the formers in next years, witnessing a continuous improvement approach.

Mantaining all current certifications on a yearly basis, and considering adoption of new ones, represents one of the top objective for the Company as it fuels continuous growth and improvement.
